Nutrition & Exercise



Nutrition is the process of ingesting food and using it for growth, metabolism, and repair. Nutrition can help us identify the foods that are bad for us. Nutrients can help us in the diet with the various proteins, vitamins and many other things that they contain. Exercise is a physical activity that is done to become stronger and healthier. We can maintain a physical body in its best shape trough exercise. Exercise and nutrition are key to achieve the health and body you want.


Exercise can help you prevent weight gain and
help maintain weight loss. When you engage in physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn. The Healthy Lifestyle Fitness propose “Regular exercise helps prevent or manage a long range of health problems and concerns, including stroke, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, depression, several types of cancer, arthritis and falls”. You can also feel better about your looks and yourself when you exercise, which can help your confidence. Exercise delivers nutrients to your lungs and helps your heart work more efficiently.


Nutrition increase the energy that benefit a healthy diet. Eliminating fats and sugars helps prevent blood sugar fluctuations. Whole grains, fruits and vegetables helps your health and are most nutritious. This allows you to maintain a good blood sugar and constant energy levels. Eating a healthy breakfast helps keep you energized throughout the day. The Healthy Lifestyle Fitness propose “Proper nutrition increases blood flow to your brain, protecting brain cells and helping to prevent Alzheimer’s disease.” To burn fat, you must burn more calories that you eat that day.
